I am trying to find a good set of heads to re-complete my old s50 engine.

When I purchased my M3, I purchased it with a bad motor. the heads were cracked, done for, but the block is still good except for cyl# 6.

I plan on puting in new cylinders with a larger bore, getting some new/newer heads and reselling the engine complete.

s50 or s52 heads would be great! good or bad, just not cracked.

please let me know! thanks! -Erik

I thought that the coolant holes were a tad different?

you need an M52 (328 engine), S50 (95 M3), or S52 (96+ M3) head.

yeah, i thought that the m52 heads were the same, not the m50, but i think that the valves are a little bigger/heavier on the m52 heads, so i think if m52 heads were to be used on an m3 block, performance cams would be required?

You'd swap all of the remaining good internals over from the original M3 head and/or replace the 328 stuff with new M3 internals.
