so i was on my bike following a friend to a party tonight. we are down the street from the house and see cops are there. so i stop next to him and talk to him and we decide to leave. as we are leaving these cops follow us. we get around the block and make another turn. i keep going straight onto the main road. i guess my friend panicked and made a left onto some street with a dead end.

so i guess the cop thought he was running so he turned the lights on. cop checks all his stuff and he has everything. then the prick gives him a ticket for no turn signal. first he tried to say he ran a stop sign. but there wasnt a single stop sign from the direction he came. so the cop changed his story and gave him a ticket for no turn signal. this was on a residential street. pretty dark and not a single soul outside. most of the neighborhood was asleep already.

so what can my buddy do to get out of the ticket? he got a ticket a while back for no insurance and no headlights. but he got both of them dismissed and doesnt have anything on his record.

yah thats what i told him too, his parents are strict. its not the fact its a turn signal ticket that he's worried about. its the "ticket" factor that he is worried about.

what town is this in? unless it's keller or westlake where they treat bs tickets like this on the same level as murder fight it. make the cop prove he didn't signal. pull the dashboard tape and audio. make him look like a jackass. hell, there's a good chance he won't show up

i want to say it was fort worth police, but at the same time it might be keller police.

my friend just had to pay 100 for no signal and when he got pulled over cop got him for a dui eventho i saw him have one drink. breathalizer was good and he passed all the test. but my friend still got screwed hardcore by a small town cop

yah this cop knew for a fact my friend didnt do anything wrong. my buddy is a dumbass and freaked. i told his ass when i was talking to him to not do anything stupid. but black people just dont listen now do they.

nah, whittaker did get pulled over a while back for no turn signal too. but the cop let him go. you dont know this guy ahsan.

yea man, cops these days just love to mess around with people late night.. last night I had a drink and was on my way back home, I was sober enough to drive, but this cop comes right behind of me while I was going 40mph on a empty road with 3 lane.. he followed me for about a mile, I was about to shit in my pants until he switched lanes and floored his car pass by me

+1, just pay the ticket. You always have to be really careful at the end of the month with traffic violations. I know cops swear up and down that they dont have a quota, but Im sure its a lie cause I always get tickets for stupid shit at the end of the month. I had a judge refuse to dismiss a insurance ticket (didnt have the card on me at the time) and I had to get bitch at her until she finally hung up on me. Then I got the sheriff to read the laws over the phone with me and he got her to back down. He wasnt even aware about the laws that say if I prove I had insurance at the time of the ticket that it should be dismissed.. judges and cops are idiots that think they know everything because of their position.

I imagine this thread is being flagged on some goverment search because it has the phrase "shooting a cop" in it. Everyone wave to the feds...

I say he just pays it. Its not worth the time and lawyer fees to fight it. Usually a judge wont give you the time of day if you dont have a lawyer with you.
