i tried setting up a meet in hillsboro at the sonic drive in and no one had any interest. the venue is perfect for a meet. large parking lot and food is right there. not really a "equal" distance for all to drive but it is all freeway and i think a worthwhile spot. as far as a local meet goes i mean. id like to meet somewhere farther south maybe. the people that showed up to the last meet at starbucks were almost all from salem. just to make it more fair for them.

beaverton police watch for people to park in that parking lot frequently, ever since a honda did a 3 minute burn out in the lot. its right across the street from the precinct so they can be there quick. also im assuming this will be in the day time. not alot of people in the day time unless your shopping for groceries.

What is the theft situation with e36's? My last car, one of the most stolen, finally caught up to me, I'm a little paranoid about this. I realize that people can steal anything but are many of you going beyond locking/alarm to the point of lo-jack or fuel cutoff?

Nope. most people steal hondas and subarus cause they are easy to strip. I think that BMWs are pretty hard to steal and then even more of a bitch to take apart/put back together.
