I just took receipt of a CPO 2000 323i yesterday (and I love it!).

I didn't think it had the alarm/theft device installed, but I can see the little red lamp on the underside of the rearview mirror and also the motion sensor pad behind the headliner.

I tried activating the alarm according to the manual, but nothing happens (no chirp, no blinking lights, etc.).

My questions:

1. Do I REALLY have the alarm/theft device?
2. If so, is there something special that needs to be done to activate it?
3. Can my dealer help me?
