So short story long..............LOL
I got hit in the parking lot back in march, by the mail man next door at work. I took it to a well known shop that my friend works at. I had them fix the dent from the mail man, and also had them fix another few door dings and random stuff, and they charged me an extra $500. but they painted the whole drivers side and hood. I get it back and it looks fine, about a month later the paint kinda drew in and you could see some sand scrathces threw the paint. So i took it back and they said that they could buff them out, so they tried and it did not go away.
So i took it back and told them that i wanted it repainted, and they painted my rear bumeper and added a AC snithzer or whatever, roof spoiler.
this is were it gets good.
So the day i was gonna pick it up, i get a phone call and they said that my raditator blew up. I was like what the hell your painting my car how does this involve a radiator blowing up. Anyways they replace the rad, fan, thermostat and hose for like 450 bucks. So a week later i goto pick up the car.
They did not paint the drivers side, they buffed and color sanded so much they took the clear coat off. My spoiler has fish eye every where and orange peel. And the corners did not stay attached, the 3m tape did not stick.
I talked with the manager and tell him i am not happy, And he tells me that they think it came out good and thats its not a a show car and i should be happy with it. So i came unglued and bitched and he agreed to repaint the drivers side and hood.
Another week goes by ( they had my car for a total of 22 days)
I pick it up today. I dont even know where to start its so messed up.
1)There is dirt in the paint and fish eye everywhere.
2) There is primer over spray between the hood and fender gap
3)There is 3 small drips around the drivers hoor handle
4) On the corner of my fender they buffed threw the clear coat
5) where they tape the inside of the doors off they did not sand it. It is all sharp and jagged.
6) the passanger side has been buffed and polished so many times it has no shine to it, it is all hazzy.
7) they only painted to the molding in the middle of the door, they diid not paint below the black molding like they said
8) There is dirt specs in the paint
9) random other thingns i dont care to type about
my car is so fucked, They need to start over and paint the whole car to make it look right. I am raging mad right now.
So monday i am going to speak with the onwer because the manager is on vacation. I am so f****** mad. And to think he said "well its not a show car" Well it was before you guys touched it.
Wow that was a lot of typing, i am sure i missed some shit, as i am very picky with body work, as it is art work to me.
