will this fit a e36 m3? i mean is it the same trans as the euro m3 6 speed?

I won't fit the E36. 6 cyl and 8 cyl bellhousings are different. Inside the trans is basically the same.

I'm interested, and currently checking to see if this will in fact bolt up to my M60 block. Although it's the same transmission model as the euro 840i manuals, the part numbers are different.
