What is the best thing to use to clean the roof inside my car? I have a lot of black lines around the sunroof area from the sunroof being vented.

You could try some of the Meguiars all purpose cleaner wipes, but i'm just throwing that out there. :az:

I don’t think the wipes will work because to roof is like a suede material, thanks for the advice though

I use my extractor with very little liquid, don't want to lose its adhesiveness.

If you have a steam cleaner, it works absolutely perfectly. I worked at a car wash with one, and sometimes we would get requests to do the roof. My roof is perfectly clean by the way :wink

yeah... that's what a lot of people have told me. the steam cleaner is the way to go but not a lot of people have steam cleaners. :(

there has to be something over the counter that will work, right? :dunno

if worst comes to worse... I'll just take it to the local car wash and get it done.

you can get a bissel steam vac for like $30 from wal mart. I have one. It works great on kitty cat throw up too.
