My 99 528i came with these wheels on it when I bought it. It's supposed to be part of the Sport/Premium package, but I can't find anywhere what style number they are. I've only seen one other E39 where I live with these wheels. They're 18", and the fronts are identical to the rears. See signature for pic.

its hard to say definitely...cause the pic is so small...but they don't look like BMW oe wheels to me.

But there's always the BMW parts database...here's a link to the all of the 1999 e39 528i wheels...if you click on the diagrams they will explode into a larger view with the part nbrs and wheel sizes etc: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/partgrp.do?model=DM63&mospid=47585&hg=36&fg=15

Bigger pics please... however, from what I see, they don't like like OE.

yeah they have the style 42 look but I dont believe they are. I cant make out any 2 piece type rivets/bolts. If I had to guess I would put my money on these :dunno

The dish looks a little deep for the BMW Style 42-II's. If they are riveted, they aren't the Rondell 58's.

Either way, they look nice!

Thanks for all the replies! I would have posted bigger pics but I can't yet since I'm still a n00b. They are definately Rondell #58's. That explains why they aren't listed in any of the BMW literature I have. I must say I like them more than any of the wheels that came factory on the E39, except maybe for the Style 5's and the M5 wheels. Now I just need to find a place to get them refinished... one of them has some pretty bad curb rash.

I'd buy one new if they are still available. Call The Wheel Exchange (http://www.thewheelexchange.com/). They are the biggest Rondell guy I'm aware of.

Wish they still sold my 72's...
