You can buy one from realoem.com (enter your VIN to verify correct part #) and search under technical literature. You can buy it for about $18. The part # is probably 01410156293. Not sure if anyone has it downloaded to their computer in .pdf format for free. 12CoolDude 08-29-2007, 05:56 PM Why do you want the Nav booklet? It doesn't do much but fill you in on the general procedures for operation... Post your questions here and I'll bet you get the answers you need...:buttrock coldwell 09-03-2007, 03:21 PM Thanks alot for your help.I still need a cd for my nav.I know I can buy one for $150 but I would like to try an older one first so I can see if I like it or what to up grade. gregw 09-04-2007, 07:20 PM Thanks alot for your help.I still need a cd for my nav.I know I can buy one for $150 but I would like to try an older one first so I can see if I like it or what to up grade. try ebay for the cd... alot cheaper. Qsilver7 09-04-2007, 09:45 PM Have you checked out the Nav manuals available in PDF format at www.e38.org & www.e38.org/e39 ? You'll find them at the bottom of the left column on each forum. If a 2000 model year manual isn't listed...I don't think there's that much difference between the Nav units. Obviously there's a difference between the wide screen nav and the smaller nav units...but you should be able to get the gist of how the Nav operates if you find one that looks similar to what you have (Nav unit I, II, III, and IV). Heck, look how many times I post information about the e39...and I don't even own one. There's a lot of similarities between the e38 and e39...plus BMW even carries alot of stuff over from other generations, too. There is somethings in the e34 5 series that are very similar to whats in the e39. :) |
