Hi, I just purchased a 97' 528i...does anyone know how to disable the annoying door lock/unlock noise? I don't mind the lights flashing but the noise really bugs me...thanks.

lol you mean the sound of the locks going up and down?

no i mean the alarm system beeping noise whenever you lock/unlock the doors

car key memory setting: you need to take it to your local dealer and have them turn it off. There is a PDF file out there that has all of the car/key memory settings and there defaults. If you're gonna turn one off...might as well look at the whole list to see if there are others you'd like to turn off or on.
