So I have a M3 lightweight fly that I picked up when I bought a used M3. I don't know who makes it but it looks identical to my lightweight fly which is a JB Racing. I love it on my car and if I wasn't going to swap mine into this car I would keep it. The previous owner took it out cause the class he raced in didn't allow any flywheel change. :)

I am looking to get $400. Thanks!

9 or 10 lbs vs. 25 IIRC for the stock one. :buttrock

Forgot to post, this part was MADE for use with OE plate, this part was meant to just substitute for the stock part

Is it a JB racing one? It looks like it's cut out for a sprung-hub (M5 style) clutch - is that correct? Any markings or letters stamped into it?

Honestly I have no clue if it will work. I can tell you that it works with a US M3 so if you can find out if that will work for you I will gladly ship it over.

Are you sure its a JB racing one as it doesnt look anything like the flywheel they show on their site for the E36 M3.

Hey,

I wasn't sure but it looked like the one that I have in my M3 so emailed them with detailed pics and they agreed that it looked like an older version. :) I have been running it in my car for years now and love mine. :)

I can forward the emails to anyone who is serious about buying.

US and Euro E36 M3 can use the same flywheel. I have a UUC lightweight one in my Euro motor.

Doesn't matter- it works on both. The Euro 3L tranny is the same 5 speed the US cars use. BTW- I have a 5 speed from a 01 M coupe. Might have the opportunity to get a 6 speed and go to a different diff (4.27 or 4.45 vs the 3.73 and 4.10s I am using).
