One of mine is Mayes Rd from Old Statesville (north of Huntersville) then across 73 and a right back to Old Statesville. 77 and 85 get old real fast from commuting, so let's hear about some fun roads. I understand completely regarding traffic. When I first went to UNCC a few years ago, I drove to the southside of town to checkout Uptown and other areas...bad call at 4:00 on a weekday afternoon--ended up being an hour drive back to campus! Rocky River and some of its sideroads are decent, but I don't have much experience with backroads in the area. Tom Short Rd. off Ballentyne Commons is a nice one |
