I'm trying to get my hands on an M3, but I just came up with what may be a fatal flaw. How big are they inside? I am 6'3 250lbs, not a small guy, and from pictures they don't seem really big, nor do the people driving em. I will probably change seats soon after I get it, so if I change the seats, would I be able to fit comfortably and not tilt my chair into the backseat to clear my head of the roof?

Well I weight about 150, so all things being equal I should beat you in a race. Just Kidding.

I think there is a lot of room. If you are like 6'9" you might have an issue.

I'm 6'2", 175 lbs, with about even legs and torso length.

I don't sit with the seat all the way back, but I'm close on the headroom when sitting in a proper driving position in the stock seats.

I'd say you would have plenty of room. I have seen guys in them as big as you say you are and they're fine. To be safe, I would recommend some aftermarket seats though. Maybe even custom brackets so they don't sit too high. E30 M3s FTMFW!

Dude, I'm 6'5" and 257 lbs and I fit fine in the E30 M3. I bought mine in Florida and drove it back to Missouri. I slept in the car a couple times without any major discomfort.

I also did a lot of driving with kids in the back seat which means I had to move the driver's seat forward. I was able to still work the clutch and drive while giving my son enough leg room behind me.

Yea, I've been up the dealer's butt for 3 months now. He has had it at a friends house doing body work, supposedely actual high quality stuff, replacing problems with metal etc. however this friend has been doing it on the side and more as a favor for him so he still hasn't gotten it back or I would probably already own it. Now from what everyone has said I no longer have any reservations before I jump on it and grab it from him for what is basically a steal

"I've been up the dealer's butt for 3 months now"

"replacing problems with metal etc."

Not sure which of the above I would worry about more?
Seriously though, if make-shift rust repair is going on
either get involved now, or run like hell.
