Anyone know what it weighs without a tire on it, is it considered a lightweight wheel?

It's on the heavy side:

Front: 28.5 lbs.
Rear: 29 lbs.

From bimmerfest.

I was afraid of that. Was that with a few pounds of brake dust on each wheel though?:D

I hate cleaning these wheels:mad

Foam-tipped swabs make cleaning those wheels a lot easier. :)

Yes, they are a pita to clean, so I stopped cleaning them. When I cared, I used foam paintbrushes though, worked pretty well.

This is my solution to cleaning..

I'm leaning very heavily to order these, I have my cart filled up at tirerack, i'm on the payment screen all i have to do is hit proceed and i won't have to clean up brake dust anymore. And now that I know these wheels are lighter than the zhp's it's getting even harder.

ASA AR1's?

I don't know man, I like those wheels but I love the Zhp ones too. I think if you're going to go aftermarket you can do better. My opinion though. Those wheels really match your car well though.

ASA AR1's?

yep, asa ar1's
For the look and price i was aiming at I can get them wrapped with pirelli's for $1400 shipped.
You can't beat that with a stick. BBS' are mostly heavier, and I don't want a race wheel. the ar1's stagger too. Most wheels that i like other than these are 4-800 bucks each wheel without tires. That's hard to justify.

You should look into the OZ Ultraleggeras. Have you considered non-staggered? I'm running BBS NS at the moment, and it's the best thing I did so far to get rid of some of the understeer.

If you think the ZHP wheels are tough to clean try the 17" OEM sport wheels on the XI. Are you looking to get rid of your ZHP wheels?
