View Full Version : e21 Alpina rims? LPSimpsons87 03-09-2003, 07:14 PM Anyone ever see these rims? I know i've seen them on some e21s. I think their 15" or 16" but im not sure. Dixon 03-09-2003, 08:48 PM These wheels are pretty hard to find, and people who have them know what they are worth and usually want alot. I think you can get the wheels New at KSK Distributors in Cali for about 2k. If you find a used set they will probably run about $1k. LPSimpsons87 03-09-2003, 08:53 PM Wow. Thats too expensive for me. Anyone make replicas of these? G.J. Dixon 03-09-2003, 09:35 PM I don't believe that anyone makes replicas now. back then when our cars were new there may have been companies that did make replicas, so its possible that you may find some that look like them. LPSimpsons87 03-09-2003, 09:36 PM Thanks anyway :D G.J. Dixon 03-09-2003, 09:43 PM There is another set of wheels like the Alpinas that are usually a little easier to come across. They are the BMW Motorsport wheel made by BBS, they are like the factory 13 inch sport wheels, the basketweaves except in 15x6 for the front and 15x7 in the rear MattE21 03-09-2003, 09:58 PM good luck finding alpina's or the bbs rims... rare as hell... i see you have stumbled accross the shitheap known as bmw320i.com and their forums... shit i say.. i have been kicked off 3 times now.. a bunch of tightass old men over there... some good info for help on stock problems but no love for the modified E21.... i'd look into some rice rims in 4x100 and get some spacers made up.. ill tell u right now the biggest u will be able to fit and still drive is a 16 LPSimpsons87 03-09-2003, 10:16 PM Originally posted by BMW Club Racer There is another set of wheels like the Alpinas that are usually a little easier to come across. I tried tirerack.com and all it came up with was 2 pairs of some shitty rims i wouldn't put on my car. G.J. Dixon 03-09-2003, 10:22 PM Today its pretty hard to find wheels which will fit our cars. Wheels which will fit: Alpina's BMW Motorsport Kosei K1 Pannasport TSW Hockenheim (originals not the R's) MSW SuperTourismo's there are other wheels which will fit, but most will need spacers Yonkers320is 03-10-2003, 12:29 AM I seen companies in Europe that make rims for the 320, like Team Dynamics, MIM, Radius; but the price is a little steep, and then there is the shipping charge........ Team Dynamics have some with shippping from the UK for 560 bucks. Got a link? jbob 03-10-2003, 12:55 AM panasport *drool* too bad they costs soo much!!! there are replica alpinas made.....kopi alpinas, BUT they're meant for non-m3 e30's (so u'll need 8mm spacers) they have an offset of 20mm.....and are 17x7.5 (not sure if they'll fit up front w/ out hitting anything......maybe w/ perfect spacers and rolled fenders) MattE21 03-10-2003, 01:11 AM ///ME21 has team dynamics rims on his 320.. pm him for more details.. i got a few pics of his car too.. monza's i believe they look real sharp BoostedE21 03-10-2003, 01:27 AM Yes I have team dynamics motorsports. They fit great and look good! |
