I have a 1997 328i. Not only is the headliner starting to crumble and tear, but I've got the inevitable stretchy-bandy problem, a clouded rear window, etc.

I figure with all that, it's probably going to cost about as much to just replace the entire top and straps, as opposed to repairing piecemeal (if I'm wrong, I'd love for someone to correct me).

I am, however, not a big DIY-er.

Does anyone know a list of persons/companies in the Connecticut (preferably Hartford) area who could do this work if I wanted to avoid the dealer route?
