View Full Version : Hey guys - new here
LPSimpsons87 03-09-2003, 06:11 PM Hey,
(lets start over since all those trolls had to screw up my thread.)
Since this is the best e21 forum I could find, I decided to register. Im 15 and in July i'll be getting my learners permit and will be the proud owner of this 1980 BMW 320i Only a couple problems with it actually, needs a new stereo system, exhaust (rusted out), a tune up, and that panel on the drivers door fell off. I'm thinking of just taking them all off and putting bondo over the holes for when I repaint the car.
Thanks for your time and I hope to have fun and learn a lot here.
Dan

Thanks man :D
Can't wait till i can start this summer. :12:
nice, very clean e21!
the panel on the driver's door......r u talking about the interior door panel or that exterior molding strip?
and unless the car has some rust that u wanna take care of, i wouldn't repaint the car, it looks mint in that pic
BoostedE21 03-10-2003, 01:18 AM Welcome, I just joined too, i already like this place alot! BTW are those alpine rims?
i believe they're the stock 13inch turbine wheels........the main way u can tell if they're alpina, is that the alpina rims have a noticable lip (aka dish) on them (even the 13inch alpina rims have lips). the stock turbines don't.
BimmerDawg 03-10-2003, 09:47 AM Welcome! Good to have you here! We now have what? Eight or nine guys in here? Alright!!!

Thanks for the comment :D
Yeah that pic isn't really good quality but the other side of the car is alittle rusty, and now the door panel (black and chrome strip on the door) came off. So I might just take them all off and bondo it.
Dan

EdgePerformance 03-11-2003, 10:11 PM Congrats man! I like the e21 yours is very clean looking! I am on hold with mine as I need to first recover from a bad back injury I sustained last night. Feel like I slipped a dic in my lover back!
