My car is a 5 speed 97 328i with an ECIS intake and UUC system U exhaust. His dads car is an 05 530xi automatic with the sports package. We went from a roll in 2nd gear, cant remember how fast but I was at about 3200 rpm. we went on the 3rd honk and I pulled on him immediatley and went to about 60mph (we were on a 35mph road). In the end I was about 2 -3 cars in front. Sound about right? Nothin crazy, but my first kill.

u raced up to 60mph? You know semi-trucks cruise faster than that :)

60 MPH? I'm sorry but thats not a kill not even nearly. That's not a fair race for the automatic. There is no way you would have won if you went up to 100MPH + (not saying that should go out and do that but...). But like the second poster said at least you played it safe.

60 in a 35 is playing it safe? 25-35 mph zones are what they are for a reason. They don't set that speed arbitrarily. There is a high risk of killing someone. SO i call it stupid and NOT playing safe.

i hear what your sayin. so you think I wouldnt have a chance if we went up to 100 or so on the highway? I think my car would be able to take it. where are my e36 328 guys to back me up? haha

you're pretty dead on, my 328 auto with a couple small mods pulled a little over a car from 35-100 on a newish 530i auto a while back. defenitely sounds about right.

u are 3 cars ahead by 60mph . the race was already over no sense going on . good kill . when ever i race if its over that early i always shut it down . no point in wasting fuel lol
