Can anyone comment on the service at United BMW in Roswell? I'm new to the area and my e66 is in serious need of some help.

Ask for Derek Mugge, he is one of the better service writers. B3m3rChic 08-20-2007, 10:08 AM just dropped off my e46 there for some repair work, Marc Klein is the only person I trust looking & repairing my car T56 Impala 08-20-2007, 10:11 AM Thanks. guess I'll have to wait. Its coming up for an oil change in about 700 miles and they say it needs to be down in the 200 mile range before its covered. Clown 08-20-2007, 04:11 PM :lol +1 :( T56 Impala 08-20-2007, 05:26 PM Yeah, I need a new sig. Maybe of my new garage when its done. Its so much smaller than my last one but it should do. Only problem so far is that with my tool box where it is now, the 7 is about 6 inches too long to fit! I'll have to do some work on the layout prior to painting and outfitting it. I'm thinking of going with a soft yellow colour, B&W checkerboard "stripe" about 3 feet up, white trim work, stainless doors on black wall units, stainless shelves, and a black and white checkered floor. Maybe off white and blue for the floor. I'm undecided at this point. I still need some art for the walls and a way to hide the kids toys. Oh, I need more lighting and more power outlets. This whole garage only has 1 outlet! Thanks again for the Info on United. I'm down to 600 miles on the computer oil change info. I just hate when anything is wrong with my cars. I have that "need to fix it" OCD! atl530i 08-20-2007, 07:00 PM Welcome to the GA section, here you will find many colorful characters :) I've done business with United in Roswell a few times. Everytime they have been very helpful. The United in Gwinnett is another story, I once waited a half hour for an oil filter, what BS. MeFryRice 08-20-2007, 07:12 PM I know a tech at United - Walter. He knows his stuff but it's too far for me to want to bring my car all the way up there just for an oil-change, that's something I can and don't mind doing. kendogg 08-20-2007, 07:54 PM If it were United Gwinnett, I could ask Wayne (my roommate, and 10 year BMW mastertech), as he still knows a few great techs that are still there. 325i_Dan 08-21-2007, 12:42 AM I know a tech at United - Walter. He knows his stuff but it's too far for me to want to bring my car all the way up there just for an oil-change, that's something I can and don't mind doing. Walter is a good, but new tech. Great guy too :) If you guys ever need recommendations on techs/advisors for the Gwinnett store, I'll absolutely give you the best there is B3m3rChic 08-21-2007, 09:19 AM I live closer to the Gwinnett store and rather drive the 30 or so extra miles to the roswell store. The sales guy was a total dic to me, I took it up there because someone told me there was a recall on something for me car. I needed it fixed weather it was a recall or not but he acted like I wasn't a paying customer. I ride with Marc from United BMW of Roswell and he is awesome. He is one of their mechanics there and he tells me the truth about my car and what I need done. I just dropped my car off there and they said I need belt adjustments or something like that $570 but Marc cut the cost down to almost half and is only replacing the ones that are broken instead of all of them. MeFryRice 08-21-2007, 11:31 AM I live closer to the Gwinnett store and rather I'm pretty sure any of us on here would rather drive a little extra if they knew they were going to get better customer service. MegaDeTH 08-21-2007, 11:38 AM Marc Klein is the only person I trust looking & repairing my car MXtuner is great, he's active on a few forums too, georgiaoffroad.com, and georgiasportbike.com qidm67 08-21-2007, 10:02 PM Walter is a good, but new tech. Mitchy540 08-22-2007, 05:27 PM I use United BMW in Roswell too! My Service Advisor is Clarke Gandee and I love the guy. The tech I use at United is Tim Pollock, he is hands down one of the best I have ever seen. Tim knows BMWs like the back of his hand. Tim is the only person to touch my M5 intimately, besides me. :) |
