Ok so this afternoon ~30 mins ago, I decided to stop by the local Wendy's here in Peachtree City to grab a Spicy Chicken sandwich. I order it plain, as always. I ordered just the sandwich as I'm trying to cut back on the spending yet I was really craving one and couldn't think of anything at the house that sounded good.

I go through the Drive-Thru as I plan on eating it on my way home. I get pretty close to my house before I start to have my snack. I open the wrapper to notice that the top bun of the sandwich had this white-greenish "funk" on top. At first I thought maybe it was just powder or something. Upon further inspection, I realize that it's mold. WTF?? :mad I didn't even bother eating the sandwich as it just cut my urge for that sandwich.

I can't believe that those stupid a-holes couldn't give me a fresh bun. This time they even managed to get the sandwich "plain" which is a rare occurrence itself as they can barely seem to get that right.

I've already send an email to corp to notify that their restaurants are slacking on their "freshness". NO I'm not going to sue like the rest of America would, just going to make them aware that they need to pay attention better....and they need to hire people that can speak English too!

Here are a couple pics:

Nasty, I guess it depends on which Wendy's you go to. The Wendy's near my shop is real good about fresh bread and stuff. The Wendy's near my house needs to be shut down in my opinion, crappy service and not so fresh food.

Wow. Who the hell put that together and didn't ask themselves "hmm, wonder what this white stuff on the bun is?" English speaking or not, it should've looked odd to anyone. Either that, or they frequently give out buns in that condition, which is a scary thought.

A couple years ago at my local Wendy's I ordered a double stack that turned out to have a surprise in it. After taking a single bite I could see what looked like a piece of metal, and it was. There was a nut in my burger!:mad
Of course the manager acted like he could care less saying "yes we are having a problem with a piece of equipment", and he sorta looked happy that I returned the missing nut. When in fact I was not "returning" the nut I was actually looking for something along the lines of an apology or refund. I got neither and even had to ask for a replacement burger (at which point I really didn't want).

I don't eat at Wendy's anymore.

I have been to a few Wendy's here and there. It seems as though they are always empty and business is not so hot. The food isn't that great either, it's very dry and bland. Maybe I need to try something else at Wendy's.

+1 I have noticed that their chicken sandwiches are kind of on the dry side. I really do not go to Wendys that often anyway.

That's Rick James Funk!

Serious, that particular Wendy's has to be the worst one on the planet. No one in there speaks or comprehends English. I rate it down there with the Taco Bell nearby and all McDonalds.

Don't know why this stupid little burg of ours can't get a Burger King.:help

The only decent FF in PTC is Chic fil a.

I couldn't agree with you more. I could eat Chick-fil-A everyday if I had too. I should have just went there in the first place but they don't offer a spicy sandwich. :(

He didn't suffer any damages.

I could always change that but is it really worth the risk?

Sure he did! Emotional distress! Pain and suffering! Cha-CHING!!!!

I like your thinking!

He could still eat it.

Yes i could....:devillook

i went by there to talk to the manager bout this "moldy" situation. No apologizes or anything, just asked me what I had and she refunded my money. She was a bit-h and now I know where I'm not going for now on.

I'm not going to make a scene over a small mistake. It's not like I chewed in into the sandwich to find a finger or anything.
