If you don't want to drop it out the bottom (with front suspension). You can lift the pair out together. Attach to alternator brkt at the front and at the hole above the starter at the rear of the motor. Takes a little juggling. Oh, and remove radiator first.

And there's a little more to it than four bolts.

What tools do you have available? Is the suspension still on the car?
If most of the engine bay is stripped it is really easy. I pulled an engine/trans last week in about an hour, start to finish. The hardest part was getting the drag link seperated from the idler arm (without destroying anything) to make room for the trans to lean downward as I pulled the engine out with a cherry picker and some chain.
Oh yeah, dont forget to remove the clutch line...

thanks mates, for your help. it seems as i expected, "disconnect everything, and pull it out". i almost feel dumb for asking the question, but you never know...thanks again to all.
