I'm not sure if that's just something they do during the week or if that's to keep us out for good? It's stock sport suspension now, and actually I think it looks pretty good, but does anyone think it should be lower? Yea I have coilovers. I am running Bilstein PSS9's, and will switch to TCKline coilovers at somepoint. For a DD I would go with Bilsteins.

I agree 100% with Freds point about corrosion on the Bils and Marc's point about target usage needs, but it just doesn't feel right suggesting that an N65-powered beast motor around on less than TCK/GC. A set-up designed for average street use is definitely the more practical way to go, but...but...but...with a tune the car can push 400 ponies and would be a monster with a top notch suspension cradling the cars hefty weight as the tires load up through the twisties. :(

She should make it a 3-season car and pick up an old xi or just eschew driving all together for the winter...or just give me the 335 [so I can trade it for a 135] in exchange for my 330, several packets of chewing gum, and the last dozen issues of Donk: Box and Bubble. :D

If I decide to be totally irresponsible then I will attend this event. This will entail convincing my wife that we should leave NYC early Sunday morning, (weekend away) Driving two hours back to CT to pick up my 6er, then driving another 2.5 to Colt state. Of course I'll have to ignore the fact that I have to write a billion papers before the end of the month.
I have missed all of the Colt State Park events and fear that there will be little chance for another this season, and or before I put my car away for the season...anyway, any encouragement on this matter will be much appreciated:naughty

Having been in the import scene about 10 yrs back (MR2), then domestic trucks (Dakota RT) for a while, then back to imports (another MR2) for a minute and currently in a Mustang, I'm looking into a 335/135... or maybe a used M3 this coming spring. Though I do prefer FI because of the tuning potential

Is the park and ride (church parking lot?) on the left there, and the highschool fields on the right, right after the light? Hey, For all of you that I met yesterday at my first bimmer rally, I really enjoyed myself, as much as I was a late, and the last arrival. Wasn't sure what the "scene" would be like or about but it was really fun. Next time it'll be more of a family affair for me and will proudly be with, and displaying Sara's 88 635CSI.

Separately, last minute I had displayed one of the virutally brand new Goodyear Eagle Ultra GS-D3 Summer 16's 225/50's tires with the 93 weight rating. Having unfortunately just switched wheels and tires with the 17 Comp t/a's on the car yesterday I can tell you that there is absolutely no comparison to these babies.
