Had some more fun last night on the streets of Mexico. :) A group of enthusiasts got together for some fun. I've been anxiously awaiting a rematch with my friends modded M5, which is an amazing machine, sounds abosolutely insane!!!

When I was Stage 1 he pulled about 2-3 CLth's on me. I'm now running VF Beta Stage 2 @ approx 7.5 psi, with the 7950 rev limiter, still on the stock exhaust! The car goes in for final tuning very soon, so hopefully it'll make even more!

For some reason I can't post links so you'll have to copy and paste to view. :(

Thanks guys.

slcook is about right, I dynoed 430WHP, but that was with the stock headers and cats, probably not alot more with SS and euro cats, maybe 10WHP, still need a final tune so I"m hoping for even more.:buttrock

umm, wow, had no idea an e46 could get up to 7950 RPM's but ok, sweet dude

why would u even think about starting in third??? especially if the m5 is in 2nd???

YOu didn't know the E46 M3 could hit 8K?

lol, I hear you, but the reason is I have 3.91 gears, 60MPH is my 2nd to 3rd shift point. He has a longer rev range to work with than I do, I believe his redline is 8300RPM, so at 60MPH he's still in his peak power range in 2nd, thus the results of the 1st two pulls.

Regardless when we were both started in the same gear and at the same time, the results changed quite a bit. :)

When I was behind you guys on one of your runs I saw you pass the E60 deep in the triple digits, when it was dead even beforehand. I was of course too far behind to see exactly how much, but I beleive it was the third or fourth run in your video?

Not long before the SC E46 M3s are all pushing 500+rwhp like Sean's Car. Heck I think we E36 M3 SCs reach the limit at 500rwhp and it seems E46s still got more to go :)

If you get caught by mexican cop, you go straight to jail. They'll keep you there forever, you'd need Charles Bronson to get you outta there, dude. :D

I kidd I kidd. Sounds like fun. Nice setup!

Damn! Can't believe how fast the M5 is! I mean the heavily modded E46 is certainly fast, but the M5 isn't that far from stock going up against a lighter heavily modded foe.

Nice runs any way you cut it!

sick runs bro...but i heard that the e60 motor doesn't have much potential for mods except maybe forced induction...bmw simply created a masterpiece of those 10 cylinders...by the way nice car bro

It's not like the S54, the V10 def has potential for more power. Removing the charcoal filters does add a bit as well as a full exhaust and secondary cat delete, not gobs but that car is probably on par with a stock M6. We shall see as I plan on running my buds M6 soon. :) Thanks for the props!
