My friend is considering selling his style 33 wheels & tires off of his 2000 540. They're 16's. I know they won't fetch as much as some other styles, but what do you guys think? Is anyone willing to buy to use as a winter set, perhaps?

In his own words:
"OEM Wheels from 2000 BMW,540i with Continental 16/55/225 tires. Tires have approx. 5K mi. of tread remaining. Wheels are in very good condition."

naw wasnt lookin to spend that much on some 16s with only 5k left.

they are actually REALLY bad for winter. the thin fins between the "spokes" causes ice to build up and easily make you feel like your car is out of balance.

you know what they would be great for? take the tires off and make something for them to be mounted outside of a house. use it as a hose holder. would look good.

haha i dont think he will let them go for what i was wanting to pay. i only wanted some trashed/temporary wheels. im not tryin to low ball i was lookin like maybe 150 ish...200. i was actually lookin for some 17s so i could use my tires.... but its cool. good luck with the sale!!
