I am ready to install rear headrests on my car. Anyone out there done this ? I have everything ready to go. Looks like the bracket bolts behind the rear metal but I am doing it blindly,. I cannot find any installation instructions etc any where??

I am working on this too. I bought all these parts. Ordered the parts according to the quantities been showed in Parts Catalogue (other than the headrests :) Too expensive). And also it seems like the front headrests fit in to rears too. +adjustable. Looking for a pair on eBay. But i think i need one more pair of item #4 (Guide). I didn't start installation yet. All will be bolt on except opening 4 holes on the montana leather. :(

I got 2 headrests on ebay and had them recovered. Got all the hardware from the dealer. I just have to get at it now! I see some of the verts have the little round roll bar covers behind the headrests? I we put in rearhead rests without this will the roll over bar work??

If you don't have rear headrests to begin with, you don't have rollover bars neither.
Rollover bars are NOT "hidden" under the grills.

Thx mate.
Yeah sad but true.
According to RealOEM they can't be retrofitted, but all parts are available.
It's not an easy task as you need to hook up all sensors and wiring and all.

You can't unless you have like 20 posts.

..So I got all the parts and installed them yesterday. did not take me more than an hour. I love Bimmers, I think the entire car is put together with clips!! Everything fell right into place. I was a little nervous making the holes in the rear seatback but using a 5/8th wood drill it was very easy and clean.
Car looks so much better it is unbelievable!
Thank you all for your help here!
