im in UTI right now and my friend says his fathers friends daughter just got her dads car (his fathers friend) its a 97 4 door 5 speed. but she cant drive a 5 speed and her father is worried about it, so my friend told him that i have an auto and i want a 5 speed wicked bad. he said hed be interested in a straight up trade.

now i have Depo AE projectors (shitty corners) a carbon fiber hood (fibers have heat damage that shows through clear coat) and the smoked clear tail-lights, and a UUC TSE (thats coming with me no matter what). the car has on it some dinan stuff (tb, HFM, and sw) but i dont really care about that.

the other car is bone stock as far as i know, im going to see it tomorrow.

ill see what hes up for, he can have the hood, the corners, the headlights, i dont give a shit, all i want are the tail-lights and exhaust. everything else can go. i love my M3, dont get me wrong, i put 5+ years of saving up into this car, even though it is in fact an auto. i love it to death and i will miss it, but im basically getting its genetically modified twin. the cars are EXACTLY alike (minus the stuff ive done to mine aesthetically).

i have severe OCD when it comes to my cars, so im taking my moms digi-cam and taking an assload of pictures. im willing to let some of the stuff ive done go because im still up about 3k$ so im technically making out with a huge deal here. hes actually afraid for his daughter with the 5 speed and hes the original owner so he knows its got some balls, my friends arctic silver 97 m3/4 is a 5 speed and he gave me a ride, its got alot more than mine does and his just has exhaust. tomorrow is going to be a good day. ill update this thread with some pics and ill note anything i see out of place.

i drove 45 minutes to meet my friend, his uncle, uncles friend, and her to check out cars and theoretically sign over the titles. so i called my friend about 5 minutes away from my house to make sure everything was still good he says "ya dude were all here hanging out, her dad is on the way and she should be coming in the next few minutes". so i get there, everyones there except her. so were like what the fuck. well her dad calls her and asks where she is, she decided that it would be mean and insulting to trade the car her uncle, the original owner and anal car guy, gave her. so she says she changed her mind.

her dad gets off the phone with her and looks at me and says "man, i am so sorry, she... (goes into uncle insulting story blah blah)" so im wicked pissed at this point because i was off my ass about owning a 5 speed and getting rid of this slush box, my dad wanted to drive a "real" m3, she doesnt want to learn to drive a 5 speed, and my friend wanted to ride with me as i rip ass through gears in the beast.

i did, shes pretty dumb when it comes to cars like 99% of the female population. i had to explain what the transmission was, she knew auto from 5 speed, but didnt know it was called a transmission. but we'll see where that goes.

UTI - 630am-1255pm
Autozone - 2pm-9pm

UTI is weekdays only, autozone is every other day.

working 2 jobs would kill me, and i applied at about 15 dealerships with my automotive highschool certificate, UTI ID number, and my 2 UTI SOC (Student Of the Course) pins.

no calls, i called all of them once a week for a month they said "your application is currently under review" which means they were nice when they took it from me, but threw it away as soon as i was out the door.
