View Full Version : New Car - 1990 Alpina B10 3.5/1 (Edmonton)
oilers 08-13-2007, 12:23 PM Got a new car finally, was holding out for an M5, but this thing was just to good a deal to pass on, Its a 1990 Alpina B10 3.5/1 - #349 of 572 ever made (not a bi-turbo, still way out of my price range) only downside is its an automatic, but its still an amazing drive.
Just wondering if anyone knows anywhere i could get a front spoiler for it in north america, theres a couple on ebay in england but they will not ship outside the EU, the previous owner really messed up the front spoiler, the body shops tell me its best just to get a new one, as it'll be tough for them to restore the one on the car.
Dinan S3 08-13-2007, 12:25 PM nice car man!!

oilers 08-13-2007, 01:07 PM the car is in mint shape besides the front spoiler which needs to be replaced. Got it for a good price.

rcantu 08-13-2007, 01:20 PM i think you did great. piece of history and rareness.
It actually wasn't a bad deal in my mind, got it for under 10,000 canadian, there really wasn't much info in terms of what pricing is for these vehicles, i searched quite a bit but could not find anything. I think i got a good deal on it, the car is in mint shape besides the front spoiler which needs to be replaced.
BMRSEB 08-13-2007, 01:36 PM Very nice.. Maybe send an email to EuroMCars (http://euromcars.com/), they sell Alpina's, Euro M5's etc., they might have a lead on how to get one. They are however, located in CA, USA don't know if that might be an issue?? Good Luck..
KDickie 08-13-2007, 02:38 PM That's a sweet ride. Nice to see that the PO took such good care of it.

MMmmmpower 08-13-2007, 04:14 PM Sweet ride man, I think I remember seeing that one at the Bavaria meet in June. Thats to bad about the M5, that would of been so badass
Id think i might take that over the m5. Just for the seats and rarity, lol
badass, too bad its not a standard though
oilers 08-13-2007, 05:22 PM Thanks for the comments guys

kesslerbmw 08-13-2007, 07:37 PM Very nice.
e24mpwr 08-13-2007, 07:38 PM The only thing I'd say is that you should find the thread for the guy in the UK who found the $6K M5 and see what it would take to bring it to Canada...
...as a daily driver :D
scyrusurcys 08-13-2007, 09:03 PM You'll have fun with that one :)
Congrats!
lowell 08-13-2007, 09:07 PM Sweet buy.
On the spoiler, I think as long as you provide proof of ownership to Alpina, they'll sell you a replacement part. Probably not cheap, but... I'm sure there are a few people around here who have these cars and have gotten replacement parts for them. Perhaps someone will pipe up.
There's also the distributor in California, forget the name at the moment...
bimmer fean 08-13-2007, 10:08 PM Car looks real nice. would love to find one here in the states. as for the front spoiler. try kormanmotorsport.com
540Greg 08-13-2007, 10:15 PM That's a very beautiful car. the main Alpina distributor for North America is http://www.ksk-alpina.com/. With the strength of the euro a front spoiler won't be cheap. KSK list a new one for $1,075 US$.
Enjoy,
Greg
