If anyone is like me, they have a broken sunroof that needs repaired. There are generally 4 parts that break. Instead of messing around and try getting one or two parts, only to find out another part is broken, or to replace the broken parts only do have the other old parts fail very soon after and have to do it over again... I think it would be great if we could just get a "kit" that includes all 4 pieces at a cheaper price than we would pay for all four separately.

I hope there are possibly some vendors who might have some interest in offering this.

Here is a link to the parts on pelican:
http://www.pelicanparts.com/bmw/catalog/shopcart/BE36/POR_BE36_BDYsun_pg1.htm#item4

and here are the part numbers and prices(they are the same for all E36's (E36 318i/is/ti, 320i, 323i, 325i/is, 328i, M3)):

54-12-8-119-747-BOE ..... Lever (Left) for Lift-Up-Slide-Back Sunroof ..... $22.00
54-12-8-119-748-BOE ..... Lever (Right) for Lift-Up-Slide-Back Sunroof ..... $22.00
54-12-8-119-095-BOE ..... Left Control Rail for Lift-Up-Slide-Back Sunroof ..... $29.00
54-12-8-119-096-BOE ..... Right Control Rail for Lift-Up-Slide-Back Sunroof ..... $29.00

$102.00 seems quite expensive for a few little plastic pieces!

I think the stealership has this kit for about 40-50.. at least thats what I paid for it. I'll see if I can post a part # later tonight.

The part # is 54 12 8 206 384. It's just labeled as REPAIR KIT C. I'm like 90% positive that I paid less than $50 for it.

I would be in as well. My is stuck up, one side will go down, but the other doesnt move. Any idea of how to get it to go down? Considering the diy says you have to slide it back a little to get it out?

Thanks for the Sunroof repair link!

I got the bently Manual but it says that removal and repair of the sunroof components inside the roof cavity are beyond the scope of this book
