Is my current 323is manual tranny going to mount up with an M3 engine? I looked on realoem.com and the two transmissions look totally different. A little concerned with the install. Let me know. Thanks.

NAZ1998BMWM3 08-19-2007, 06:59 PM Nahh man you got it all wrong see. You need the ZF M3 tranny. E36LUVA 08-21-2007, 01:15 PM Is your car an E36 or an E46, 99 was a split year wasn't it. If its an E36 the S52 will bolt up to the 323 getrag trans as long as you keep it NA it will hold up fine.
