Does anyone know is the carsoft software can do a ews resync. I called the dealer and did alot of investigation and was unable to get a confirmed answer.
What i want to do is, purchase a used AA ecu from a board member and sync my current ecus security settings into his ecu. this way i can swap ecu's with zero down time

Bring your car and the new dme to your local dealership. They can align the ews..

Downtime I would esitmate is 1-2 hours. Just tell them you got a new DME and need your EWS aligned. They will remove your old DME and insert the new DME and then align the EWS. Its a simple process...
