on a scale of 1-10 how much of a PITA is it to change that thing? the write up seems pretty straight forward. I believe its some sensor on the rear axle (the only cable that goes back there, you just follow it) and after somehow really really degreasing the area, you spend about an hour or two, trying to take the screws in and out, besides that, it is just a sensor and thats it.

the speedo does work right now, but I hate how it wiggles around like an old car (well it is an old car, but still, I hate when they wiggle lol)

It's a 4 at the most, the main problem is the dirt falling on your eyes and mouth.

I dunno if you saw my post in the other thread or not, but its pretty easy. Find someone with various 1/4" drive extensions etc and a couple different wrenches and you'll get it in a matter of minutes. I was looking forward to spending quite a bit of time on it but it was pretty easy considering what bmwe34.net makes it out to be.
