Goodmorning I just bought a 91 535 it rocks I have had and still have a few bimmers but this series is new to me. I need to know where the ECU is located and also anything I should be looking for as far as paying extra attention to.This cars particulars are 178k miles 5 speed swarze black w/ black interior.

Ecu is on the engine bay, passenger side close to the windshield.

Actually, sorry to correct you, but on RHD cars it's on the driver's side, so they're on the right in any car.

EDIT: Of course not that it matters in this particular situation, but just for future reference.

go to www.picsorban.com click on browse, select the picture, and AFTER you select it you have to upload it, so press upload. and bunch of links will come up

copy the one that has the [ I M G ] (without spaces) and paste it here, and thats it
