I'm selling my '89 525i Bronzit Beige metalic. The car has been a great daily driver for the last 12 mos. but I've NEVER been able to keep a car much longer than that. 209,000mi. great compression on all cylinders, valves adjusted at 205,000mi.
The good: The front end and rear bushings were all replaced less than one year ago, the interior is in great shape, the engine runs great (no leaks/doesn't burn oil), transmission works great, sunroof and windows all work, and the tires are all about 50%.
The bad: The car was a northern car most of it's life and it has some rust issues, around the bottom of the doors, and most noticeably, around the fuel filler door, and the paint has swirl marks under the clearcoat (big problem with this color apparently), but the body is straight.
The So So: The stock radio finally crapped out last month, and it is due for a timing belt in less than 1000mi.

I really need to get $1800 for it, but I will replace the radio and do the timing belt (w/water pump) for $200 each if you like.
