Hi,

I've been looking around for an easy yet effectiave way to detail my car in 3 or 4 steps (Wash, Clay, Polish/Seal). I have read about XMT 360 and it seems like a wonder product not to mention that it's not very expensiave. Now the only flaw seems to be that I dont have a PC nor do I want to buy one. Can I use this product by hand with the same level of effectiveness?

just buy a pc or better yet, a festool :D

XMT360 is a great product for use with an orbital buffer. I use it regularly following a coarse polish to get rid of haze/light holograms- and then to also apply a glaze- which i follow up with s100/P21s carnuba. If you do choose to try it by hand, buff it until the product dissapears. Id be willing to bet you'll be tired by the time you're finished. When i use it with the buffer, ill generally get some very light clearcoat powder the first 30 seconds of buffing- quickly followed by the product dissapearing and the sealant baking in. using a microfiber to rid excess from the paint is effortless. I highly reccomend this product.

BTW pc's are down to $100 in many places. just buy one along with white polishing and yellow cutting pads and you're set. I hope this helps you
