So this weekend was probably the most insane(good) weekend I've had all summer. Went to a wedding sat night. I was a rockstar on the dance floor at the reception. Then after the reception about 20 of us got vip escprted into sports rock. After that the night got a little hazy but good times none the less. From what im told there are some pretty interesting pictures of me. Ill have to post some.

well I don't know if you guys remember but earlier this year some lady ran me off rt. 28 and had to get a shit load of things done to our jetta. Well last night somebody finished what that lady started. I was sitting on the parkway slowing down for traffic going about 30 when a massive pickup truck rearended me going about 50. My friend I was with and I are both fine just minor bumps and bruses but the Jetta is totaled.:( He smashed the entire back end right up against my backseat. Thank god nobody was sitting back there. This is terrible I've been in my only two accidents this year and neither of which were my fualt. Even tho everybody here is a fairly experienced and good driver make sure your always take another look. I was lucky to walk away like I did and wouldn't want to see any of my friends in the position I was in. Rip jetta 8-13-07

So those of you with or who have had S52 setups what tranny fluid do/did you use... I've done some reading and was thinking of going with:

I've heard that is good stuff, the whole royal purple product line is good.

Figured since I was losing some 'bling' I might as well add some, so I wired up some city lights. They are amber, like the corners. I also have blue and white. Perhaps I'll switch them out later.

Well my Coupe is still down for now, did some messing around with a few things over the weekend, think I'm closer at getting to the problem, hope to have her back on the road by next weekend...

Also thinking of a day trip upto the Erie island (p-cow) :D on Sunday Sept 9th, 2007. We'll run the back roads up and eat lunch at the dinner at the entrance of the park , then find a nice lot by the lake, chill for awell in the sand and take some pic's, relax and chat... Then hit 79 and hull are asses back... If their's some interest I'll get a thread going ;)...

Angel Eyes died, so I took them out, wired in City Lights, and took out the lenses. I'll post pics later tonight!

it consists of

1.) wash
2.) claybar
3.) coat of cleaner wax
4.) swirl cutting/paint correction (depending on swirls, can be a 2 step process as well)
5.) showcar glazing
6.) synthetic sealant
7.) few coats of yellow carnauba
8.) detail sprayed down

usually comes out to be about $225-250... depends on the swirls in the paint, if I have to do a 2 step process or not, I'll look at the paint first and give my price. It's not on the same level as a standard detail, it's showcar quality, and easily maintanable. I'd need the car for at least 7 hours. I don't use OTC products, all professional line.

Interesting....it seems like my clutch engagement point has gotten lower in the last week or so. The clutch still seems strong, but I don't know why the engagement point dropped? Does the clutch lines need bled?

How about this....

I was cruising down 79 on my way home from work on Wednesday and I see this red dot weaving back and forth in my rear view. I look as he gets closer I see that it is an Audi RS4. He was moving pretty good, and looked like he was having fun doing it. As he came up on my six, I jumped on it, weaved a couple lanes, and got into the right hand lane to exit, he follows. This is the exit at Heidelberg(sp?) so it is a hard right hander that ends up going over 79. I take it as fast as I can, he is right up my arse. He followed(just coincedence) me for a couple of miles until we came to this light. I'm looking back at the car, man it is sick, when I turn to my left and see a black RS4!!! I point this out to him, and he gives me a big thumbs up. The second RS4 pull ahead of me, takes off, so I move over and left the red RS4 behind me go after it. Sure enough, he takes off, those cars sound so sick.

Anyhow, it was the best commute home I've had in a long time

It’s a great time and a great show, plus your at the beach and the main strip / highway along the coast is completely packed, day and night with a ton of really sweet cars…

No its an air pump that comes off the engine.. Used to cool down the cats. Its an emmisions thing. That blue M roadster doesnt have one cause the guy took it off for extra HP. Now it wont pass an emmisions test :mad

Anyway Dave just sent me a PM so I figured I'd drop in. I was in pittsburgh for a week a little while ago but didn't see anything happening on the board here. Remember that water main break in the city? My car was parked right next to it, got covered in shit, clay, and muddy water, and either a utility truck or a news van left a nice scrape along my passenger side quarter (parallel parked on the left side of a one-way). I dunno if I'll get it fixed or not, I may wait a year and respray the whole thing.
