so my car sat in a field for 4 years, thats right 4 years. for those of you that don't know me i bought the car off ebay for 900$ and did a full restore.
i had compounded the entire car with turtle was brand rubbing compound to get most of the grim off but my hood no mater what i did was faded gray. or so i thought.
People let me tell you the clay, buffing, rebuffing, glazing, and wax system can bring back the dead. they got all the oxidation off my hood and body.
just like its explained in the DIY page. Enjoy.

the clay phase is worth its weight in gold. my hood was grey and the buffing brought that out. what colour is your 6 series?

yes sir. a BBQ/Project Day here in OKC. it is pretty much all day so you should be able to come whenever you want if you are available. there is a thread called Tune Up Day or something like that.

btw the shine is brilliant! i can only clay bar a small segment of my car before i cant take it anymore.

My 6er is dark blue. Lapiz blau to be exact. Like I said, I dont know much about paint and body. Just the mechanics.
