Attention all BMW Club racers and perspective racers,

The annual O-fest National club race is quickly approaching. It will be at Motorsport Ranch, just south of Fort Worth Texas. We will be running the traditional 1.7mi CCW course. As of right now we have 26 racers applied and a large percentage of those are out of region racers.

It is a two day event and we will have a ton of track time. We have two 30 minute races Saturday and a feature 1 hr enduro Sunday. Remember, Sat racers are worth 150% and Sunday’s feature is worth 200%. Those of you going for regional or national championships can not afford to miss this weekend!

We have a lot of great stuff planned for the weekend and it’s shaping up to be one of our biggest local turnouts ever. Please support our region and BMW club racing as a whole by coming out, having a great time, and proving we can put on financially successful National events.

More info can be found on the club racing calendar under details. If you have specific questions or need additional info please don’t hesitate to PM me.

Additionally, there will be a club race school. Details and registration can be found at:

Thanks and see ya at the track!

I can't believe the numbers of Mod cars. Right now over 1/3 of the field is Dmod or higher. It will be a great weekend to race as well as spectate.

This just in:

Yokahama Tires, one of the 2007 BMWWCCA CR Premier Sponsors, is going to raffle off a set of tires as well as multiple race duffel bags and jackets.

This is in addition to:

Eric Heinrich of Summit Mortgage, one of the 2007 BMWWCCA CR Premier Sponsors, is offering a $200 gift certificate to the racer that tows the farthest to this event.

I just wish they were offering something for the dumb bstd putting the event on :help :D

Actually I did talk to them about doing something for the clubrace school people too. Said they would work on it.

Among a couple other areas, Texas is one location I've not been to yet. I'm looking forward meeting new people, seeing a new track and experiencing another area of the country. Should be a blast!

What kind of tech rules enforcement is planned, Jack? Anything beyond weighing the cars?
