strad 08-09-2007, 09:05 AM Basically, you're f**ked. Worst place ever to try and get good insurance at a good price, even if you're married and have a perfect driving record with no accidents.
I'm married, over 25, clean record, Farmer's insurance. My vert costs $600/year comprehensive w/o collision, about one step above minimum liability, and the highest comprehensive deductible available. And that's with a bunch of discounts, including multiple vehicle, homeowner's and a few others. And I shopped around, did a lot of research before settling on them.
And if you think that's cheap, remember, if I wreck the car myself I"m screwed, since there's no collision coverage. Collision coverage would run me at least 100% more. For a 15-year-old car that's not worth a ton of money. I shudder to think what you'd be paying to insure a brand-new BMW that has a note on it.
ultimachi 08-09-2007, 02:29 PM I'm over 25, have State Farm, had 1 speeding ticket when I went with them, and I pay 240 a month for 2 vehicles and they're both fully covered. But I got the highest deductible.....which is 2,000 dollars!
I am over 25 with no tickets (only parking tickets :D) and I have insurance through Farmers. I have the lowest deductible at $250 with full coverage and I pay $240 a month for my Audi. It is high but I get all of the glass coverage and animal damage, too.

You need to get me a hookup on that! My deductible is ridiculous! And what's the word on the TV? :shifty
