How do the rear seat headrests come out....the right side just pulled out but the left side just pulls up and stops ? any tricks to remove it ?

Put the top down and put one hand under head rest between two support post and one on top. Then give it a strong tug. It shoud come out or mine did!:redspot

. . . while standing in the back seat. You might try pulling one side to loosen the clip from the notch on the post on one side, then the other. Pull really hard . . . .

Stand in the seat method worked for me.
Side to side and as much strength as you can muster.

The problem is that you're not giving the headrest a target...

Stand in the back seat, put your face right over the headrest, and pull really hard.

Headrests? Um, I don't think I have them on my Vert in the rear seat... I guess the previous owner must have figured it out!!!

just had to take mine out today. just pull with the force of life, and brace yourself

They can be difficult to remove and my experience is that not all respond to the same force. One of the two on my car required the use of a wooden hockey stick as a pry bar. I'm not sure what the design goal was - the bars attached to the head rest have several notches along their length as if they are designed to stop at intermediate locations. The force required is so high that this is not really adjustable by the person seated in the back seat.

The short answer is pull straight out and pull very very hard. I'm guessing the easier one came out at around 100lbs force and the other at something higher than that.
