Personally, having one of these cars, I dont see how that could have physically happened.

I never could understand the follow-up Bond books (post Ian Fleming) where James drove a Saab. Even with a Ruger Redhawk .44 Magnum hidden in the dash, a Saab just doesn't work for Her Majesty's Secret Service. Nice cars, but not very intimidating.
