I am selling my 2001 540i/6 and I am asking $17499 OBO. (I am taking reasonable offers - just please be reasonable :) )
I am the third owner, the car has a clean carfax (I can supply the VIN if you want to check yourself).

Recently had the following replaced:

valve cover gasket
upper radiator hose
thermostat
water pump
intake manifold gaskets
fan clutch
spark plugs
batteryPrevious owner had the following replaced:
radiator
clutch

Current “issues” (I can have these fixed before you buy the car if they are a sticking point)
Broken cup holder (I know – you are shocked)
Rear sunscreen had a plastic piece breakNo other problems.
Oil changed every 4500 miles with Mobil 1 synthetic.
When the valve cover gaskets were replaced, the cams were examined, had ZERO sludge buildup. Also, the valve covers were painted matte black (the old stock paint was wearing off).
