Evening,

Had a mishap on Saturday with my mother's Kia. Awkward angle parking job, couldn't see anything, completely my fault. I've never even touched another car before, so this is a first for me.

Anyway, here's the damage: (Sorry for the terrible pictures)

Most of it wiped right off, as it was a pretty minor scrape. I've clay'd and washed it about a dozen times now. Is my best bet just grabbing some touch up paint, trying my best, then getting it buffed/wetsanded? I realize I may have to snag a new mirror, but the fender looks to be nothing but clearcoat damage. There's a small section that gets down to the paint, but it's not very big.

Should I take it somewhere and have them deal with it? I'm extremely embarrassed about this and I want my baby to come out looking as good as she did before.

Pickup some Meguiar’s Scratch X, apply some elbow grease and you may have to make two or three passes. Then apply a coat of your favorite wax to this area. What is down to the metal will need a little touchup.
