Is anyone else planning to go to the E-Center for Auto-X on the 23rd? Maybe we can have a meet and photoshoot that morning or maybe we could meet on Saturday the 22nd? Please give me some feedback as to what works for everyones schedules.

I will of course be there. I would recommend against meeting/picture taking before the event if you plan to race. You should be at the E-center no later than 9:00am to register, tech, etc.
If anyone decides to come and watch, I can probably take a few people for rides.

Sounds good to me. Let's try to get everyone together on the 22nd, Saturday. We can take some pics and maybe cruise for a little. If we meet up around 4 that gives people time to get off work or whatever else they have to do. Also Josh was kind enough to have edited a video of our drive and he really did a great job. If you want to check it out I have the disk, or he is trying to shrink it down so that it can be posted. Input about the meet is always appreciated.

If we meet up on the 22nd I won't be able to be there until about 4:30-5. If you guys want to meet that late or whatever I am down.

Hopefully I'll have a new car by then

We could even cruise after the auto-X, the more input we get from people the better we can accomodate everyone.

i'm down for either a cruise would be awesome let's get somethin together though for sure

I'm in , I don't think I will run in the auto-x , but will show for a while...keep us posted..if it doesn't rain ,or snow

The E-center is just north of 3500 South and on the east side of I-215 west belt. Roughly speaking, coordinates are 3200 south and 2200 west.

I'll for sure make it to the next meet and get a grip of pictures when the weather will be nicer... I'll try to remember to bring some batteries for the camera this time though :laugh

WAMP - Check out HPC (high performance coatings) out in the draper area. It's by the point of the mountain. They did most of the work for alot've the Modern Garage cars.

Re - powdercoat,- Wamp , there is a place north of Layton just outside of Ogden - that does powdercoat , I saw a place close to down town SLC, I will keep my eyes open for it and get you info on the in-town location , I see you are a little further south.

Glad to see everyone got my e-mail. For anyone who wants to arrive earlier then the meet time, I think the auto-x goes all day. I won't be racing but will be a enthusiastic spectator.:D

Wow, can't believe you have not heard of the E-center. Its a ~12,000 seat arena. Mostly for the Utah Grizzlies hockey team, but they also host a lot of concerts and other sports activities.
Anyways, if you're coming just for the photo meet, you'll see a huge parking lot with cars driving around lots of orange cones.

So who is going to race??? Someone has to try to keep up with the VW guys??
