Hi all,

I don't have a BMW yet, but I have been searching around for my first one (I think). I wanted to get something fun and convertible with 4 seats so that my wife and daughter (4 1/2) can go with me. If I can't find a fun convertible that fits this bill, and the family can't come along I might as well just take one of my motorcycles. :)

Anyway, how well does a child booster seat fit in the back of a M3 convertible. I'm posting in the E36 M3 convertible section cause based on the $ I want to spend on this "toy" vehicle that's the range I'm looking in, late 90's M3 convertible.

I noticed that the back seat of the convertible has that hump in the middle which the sedans don't seem to have. Has anyone been able to put a booster seat in there successfully? I would have to measure the width of my daughter's seat now. And I'm not opposed to getting different booster seat either.

I tried searching for booster child seat and convertible and found this:

But nothing really specific to convertibles and the rear seat and if one would fit or not.

Thanks for reading this and any help you guys could provide.

Thanks,

I have a Britax Marathon
h t t p : / / w w w . britaxusa.net/products/360_marathon.aspx

And the base of that is narrower than our booster seat. The booster is about 2 inches wider. I don't remember the brand of the booster.

I have heard of the "child seat problem" and didn't see much about just the booster seat. I was worried cause my booster is wider than my baby seat and it looked like my booster wouldn't fit, but I hate driving all over looking at cars and taking that with me. :)
