I need to replace these. I just bought the car and it has a GC suspension but these mounts don't look like anything I have seen on their website. The top metal part of the mount is failing which you can see from the top of the car. Can I just run stock mounts with this set up? The PO sent me some new strut reinforcement plates he had not yet installed which I believe are a part for the 96+ mounts according to realoem.com.

Those look like KMAC camber plates. Based on my experience, KMAC is total crap.

If you saw what they look like from the top, you opinion would be confirmed. The metal has failed on the frame that surrounds the bushing.

Exactly what parts would I need to install the stock upper mounts (swap for camber) with the GC springs.

You will need (from top to bottom):

- strut tower reinforcement plate
- strut mount
- GC aluminum top hat (sits on spring)

I don't think there are any washers that go between the strut mount and top hat. Just to be safe ask GC.

Thanks. Just what I needed.

I spoke with them this a.m. and they said nothing required. I also have one bad Koni shock up front (adjustment tab broke :-() and I need to pull it to get a part number for replacement.

They are on full stiff and it is surpising how compliant they are with the coilovers (although the spring rates are more street oriented 385/450). It would be great if I could loosen the darn Koni a turn. I may look into chaging the spring rates but want to get it sorted first and then start tuning things.
