The Beastmaster 08-06-2007, 07:31 AM I didn't forget. This is a generic monthly schedule.
gmhl10 08-06-2007, 07:34 AM OK... then I guess that's as generic as they get. :) lol
MRFLEX 08-06-2007, 02:14 PM The night time meetings and weekend drives are to fill in the void and are set-up at random dates and times.
Always open for suggestions, the next drive will be down the West Coast to Yokohama Beach.
blk07cs 08-06-2007, 02:54 PM Hey...FLEX
How about some drive ending up on the town side? Just a suggestion....:rolleyes
MRFLEX 08-06-2007, 03:00 PM Hi Ms. Flex
Kind of hard when I am parked at your place. :)
gmhl10 08-06-2007, 03:06 PM Hey...FLEX

MRFLEX 08-06-2007, 05:53 PM That can be arranged, I heard Round Top / Tantalus the road is screwed. We can do the east coast line.
Any suggestions.
blk07cs 08-06-2007, 05:57 PM Hi....FLEX
You're back! Will I be a driver or passenger on the next run of yours?
Blitzkrieg Bob 08-06-2007, 06:07 PM I heard Round Top / Tantalus the road is screwed.
Huh, It's still good for watching the submarine races
MRFLEX 08-06-2007, 06:21 PM Hi....FLEX
You're back! Will I be a driver or passenger on the next run of yours?
I'll drive you the first time and you can have some seat time in the 645, you need to get used to being in a full size car.
thrlls 08-06-2007, 08:22 PM That can be arranged, I heard Round Top / Tantalus the road is screwed. We can do the east coast line.

YES!
Have it on a Saturday when I'm not working...we all meet at Bob's Big Boy in Mapunapuna early like 7:00 AM have a good breakfast, depart at 8:30 - 9:00 taking the Old Pali road, check out the look out, head towards Maunawili, then that Pine tree road whatever it's called by the bad gurl's home, through Waimanalo, Photo Op at Sandy's, Blow Hole, pick up your own lunch at Koko Marina, eat at the boat harbor, and depart.
OR, skip breakfast and meet at Costco Iwalei at 8:30...wait for stragglers till around 9:30, head for the Sandy's photo op, Waimanalo forest road...whatever it's called, Maunawili, Old Pali Rd, H3, Kahuku, Matsumoto Shave ice, Konakahua (snake rd), our favorite stretch of road, pick up grinds from Waipio s/c for the hungry go across the steet to the park and park....talk story and depart.
erbillingsley 08-06-2007, 08:39 PM I didn't think Saturday and you not working could be put in the same sentence.
MRFLEX 08-06-2007, 08:47 PM YES!

Two great suggestions either one will work for me. If you ask me I would plan on putting both of them on.
thrlls 08-06-2007, 09:21 PM I didn't think Saturday and you not working could be put in the same sentence.
It's rough, but I have a better chance than doing it on a Sunday!
Which reminds me, do you want to do your car after I finish work on Saturday Aug. 25th?
I was talking with Jeff, and we could start on Friday night, and Jeff can do his thing on Saturday morning, then when I'm done work I can go up there and put it back together. Then hopefully you can drive it on Sunday!
BTW Flex -
I work for four Saturday from 8 - 12 starting on the 25th. :D
erbillingsley 08-06-2007, 10:42 PM I have a lot of painting etc to do so we can't get it done that fast. Randy seems to think with prep time and drying time a week is about as fast as can be done with all the work that needs to be done after Jeff gets through. Starting of Friday night is fine with me though. Will have to see how long it takes for me to get the primer, then sealer, then e coating on in order to get it ready to put back together.
MRFLEX 08-07-2007, 12:02 AM Okay this Saturday is out due to the Cars and Coffee meet, Sunday we have the P&B drive.
So it would have to be next Saturday, how does that sound?
99MPower 08-07-2007, 08:45 AM How about that cruise for the 25th... then I can at least go.. :)
also a great route, as I haven't done an East side cruise before....
StrictlyE46 08-07-2007, 09:10 AM Nice Cal you have narrowed it down for some of us we now know that it will be before the 25th!!! looks like the pool is shrinking!!!

Well this would be a good day for most, but I'll be in Arizona setting up my step son with college, and then I work for the next 4 Saturdays.
Not to mention, on the 18th is SCCA Test n Tune at the Stadium and on the 19th it's autox, so those dates will eliminate a few more people from attending.
The 25th or 26th would probably be better dates for most. I'm out until Oct. 27th or so. :(
MRFLEX 08-07-2007, 01:39 PM Woody your plan so lets look at the 18th, yes it would be great to do an east coast drive, PCA members can join in.
Let me try and set something up.

Flex - Don't plan around me because I won't be able to make a cruise or a meet until sometime in October.
If I do, it will be a last minute change in my schedule for whatever reason.
I may be able to meet up with the group sometimes, but not on the 18th I'll be cooking in Arizona! :shine
MRFLEX 08-07-2007, 08:06 PM Okay then this would be a good one to do for Cal for the 25th.

I must say your phone does take great pictures!
I have my camera phone, but being I rarely take photos and I really didn't think of it. I can wait for it to get here, and it's not like it's anything special...just a "P" car nothing to make a big fuss over.
MRFLEX 08-08-2007, 01:53 PM Ahhh Woody there is no such thing as "Just a P-Car" :lol:lol:lol

Oh I'm not in denial...in fact I'm planning my long and short term Mod goals!
However, it is still just a car!
I guess for me there are great cars and not so great cars, but never the less....they are all still just cars!
The "P" car just so happens to be a Great car IMHO, but still no need to make a big fuss over it. However, I really like the handling so far...well the handling on Jeff's car anyway!
MRFLEX 08-08-2007, 04:16 PM Oh Oh Woody will be a maniac around the Blow Hole to Hanauma area on Kalani Hwy.

I gotta admit... I wasn't very thrilled about having the meet at that Nicos area at first... but after checking it out that last C&C meet...
I like that area!
I mean, it's got it all.
Shade, no bumps, plenty of space, no security hassling us, food nearby...
Good find Bryan! :redspot

The Beastmaster 10-02-2007, 02:12 AM Should I come and spread the love? ;)Come on down!
bupton 10-02-2007, 02:43 AM Why not, after all I am still a paying member. And besides, I can show all the clowns at the stealership the new car they made my buy. ;)
But on second thought, I wonder if they would greet me with red hot pokers after the rather scaithing review I gave their service to both BMWNA and their own research group.
MRFLEX 10-02-2007, 03:07 AM Ben,
You are paid up on your membership so you are always welcomed at the meetings and events. We can put a roundel on the S2K or some mini stickers:).
The Beastmaster 10-02-2007, 03:08 AM It'll be alright. Afterall, I show up in Porsches. :evil2

I've occasionally dripped copious amounts of gear lube on their forecourt from my Land Rover... I'm sure they have little elves that run out and wipe it up as soon as I depart so customers won't think it was a BMW that marked its territory.
