Do to the help of this site I found out that my auxilliary fan on my '96 740il is not spinning. While the car is running to warmed up temperature and the a/c on I unplugged the wire to the auxilliary fan then plugged it back in. I can hear the fan motor spinning but the blades are not. I also noticed that the fan blade is real loose inside of the housing. Is it possible that a nut or something came loose and it just needs to be tightened? I can't see how it is connected because it sits right behind the bumper. And I bet these are a bastard to remove. Any help appreciated.
