Hi im new here and looking for advise. I am interested in a Automatic to Manual tranny swap on my E60 530 (M54). Have anyone done / seen / heard any done so far ?

Any pointers in the direction would be appreciated.

cheaper to just purchase it with the manual tranny, many modules will have to be replaced, and you will need to know how to edit the coding, and Vehicle Order. just not worth the trouble.

The best thing to do is to sell the auto and buy a manual.

it will cost you too much money and cause too many headaches.
