Anyone know someone who can tow? May need a tow in a couple months from the docks to mililani.

you need a flatbed or not??? if not, there was a tow company in the phone book i used before- $40 towing...flat rate of 40 bucks, anywhere on island...hopefully he's still around...

i used to flat tow automatic transmissioned cars without any problems before, but i was told that it's not recommended, since the transmission cooler (if the car comes with one) isnt being operated when the car isnt running- which can lead to damaging the trans...or if you have to do it, to disconnect the driveshaft...

anyone have ideas on this???

nope 5 speed. its a Mazda RX7(FC)

I've heard the same before, though I've never had problems with it. I don't think we can flat tow far enough to have those kinds of issues.

just so you know this wont be till a month or two since i'll be on the mainland for awhile.

hopefully by that time I would've moved into a new place with a garage and ample street parking so my truck can be easily accessed...
