as i said all along, some carry the generic Chinese copies of depo, acquired grey market via trading companies in china, read bootleg because depo WILL NOT DEAL WITH THEM DIRECTLY and more so now then ever before.
depo did not sell ANY product to this company, NONE, depo will not service the product at any point or time.
to clear your confusion on our policy and prices and what we sell or don't, gen4 depo will continue selling at their current price, the generic non gen4 depo available to anyone will sell for $79, since others claimed they would match prices at any point and time the ball is now squarely in their court after all its all done to save the members a few buthe loud claims are, lets separate the boys from the men.cks right? lets see how genuine
i have always catered to the discriminating buyer who wanted quality product and service above all, now we will also match and best prices ON LIKE PRODUCTS, if its quality you want we have it, if its price you want we have it too its a Macy's -vs- Kmart analogy.
vs.
all are in stock NOW and ready to ship today, you will get the correct pnp harness and a GENUINE set of depo supported with a full warranty from depo.
(from above...)
so do we get the real deal gen iv depos and stoneguard for $99 more? because i quoted you above where you say only fake depos sell that cheap, real depos sell at the higher price.
does this mean that fake depos have gone down in price even more? If real depos are selling for $99 with stoneguard, fake depos should sell for like....$30 right? Cuz whats the point in buying fake if they are the same price as real?
So lets recap. Originally you were selling REAL depos for like $180 each. Competitor comes along with depos for $99. You say, hell we will price match on like products, and we can sell these generic depos that the competitor is selling for $80. Now you say you can add REAL depos for only $100 including stoneguard? So what about your stock of generic depos? How much is the price for the generic depos?

i said all along and from day one, we are the only authorized depo resellers here, that doesn't mean we cant go and get ours elsewhere.
mind you and im sure it just skipped your mind the same people now spamming this board with "GEN4" depo said just a few short months ago that it was a lie and nothing but a marketing ploy... ar they marketing and lying or what??
if you want gen4 i got them, there's a 90+ page thread right here you can look up, if you want basic depo we got them too, you can look up and research the difference on that very same thread and then decide for yourself, but i think you already have.
also the vendor in question offered them at $149, i countered with $99 just thought i'd clear this up for you.
to everyone else, this is not the place to be a cheerleader for one side or another, this is a group buy, if you have question about the product feel free to ask, if you are here to stir shit up you are in the wrong place and you need to move along, we would like to keep things clean and stress free, there are plenty of drama threads littering this forum if you feel the urge.

What's the difference between the 55w and the new older kits?
hmsM3 08-03-2007, 08:36 PM Answers?
dude its definately hid fogs too. i got the same setup and with the hid fogs it makes it way brighter. you can tell they're using a 8000k or 10,000k bulb in the fogs because its much more blue. its very decieving to potential buyers:nono i got my "fake" gen IV and my race hid's w/ lifetime warranty with hid fogs and they're just as bright:eyecrazy and it was hella cheap:buttrock

it would be best if you moved along now, go stir the pot somewhere else, since you have nothing useful to add and have no intrest in buying anything.

Not to take sides, but it would be nice to see the prolumen 55w kit in a BMW headlight (ZKW, DEPO, etc) with and without HID fogs on just to see how bright the 55w kit is over the standard prolumen one. And lastly, weren't you crapping on the DDM DEPO headlight group buy thread because the vendor was selling them for $99? What was the point? Were you also buying them?
Anyways, looks like a nice gb habbie! Hopefully you can post more pics, if available.
NavyNukeEt 08-04-2007, 12:50 AM Sorry guys, I know i'm new here and I have ZERO cred, but I'm a well established member of "another" forum, and from past experience, hmsM3 looks suspiciously like one of Habbie's main competitors trolls who used to come into our forums and post untrue facts about Habbie's deals when he would post them. They ended up getting banned at the other forum, but i'm sure they're still out there somewhere.
I will say though that Habbie delivers on EXACTLY what he advertises here, and the quality is no joke. I bought both my brother's lighting setup AND my setup from habbie, and had absolutely no problems on either of the deals. Delivery was prompt and the product was as advertised.
I know that that sounded like an add for Habbie, but i know that absolutely everyone who has ever bought from habbie in the past will back me up on this one.
And hms, and slick, stop stirring up shyte just for the sake of stirring it up. The least you could do is do some research and make intelligent arguments before you open your semen-receptacle.
NavyNukeEt 08-04-2007, 12:52 AM And despite what hmsM3 said about them using 8-10k bulbs in those shots, he's full of it, and obviously knows nothing about high quality lighting.
Habbie, I pmed you about some possible interior lighting, don't know what you've got laying around these days.
Not to take sides, but it would be nice to see the prolumen 55w kit in a BMW headlight (ZKW, DEPO, etc) with and without HID fogs on just to see how bright the 55w kit is over the standard prolumen one. the size of the 2 kits is probably identical, this kit has an internal igniter, this kit is a super high output and it produces 35%-40% more light.
the new "regular" prolumens are 1/3 of the size of your old prolumen and are fully digital you can read more here:

What's usually the low beam bulb used in Depos? I bought some used depos on the forum last year and installed them. I would look on the back of the bulb but the car is currently at the shop. I'm interested in this kit as well..
And wait, how much for this kit with new depos? Do they come installed?

i have a few different ballast you can buy to replace the fried one, kwd for $69 is by far the nicest of the budget ballast.

Ouri, you are still helping me along even though I didn't buy through you this time!
I just bought P46s with the Prolumen 50watt Kit and Predators (I went through Umnitza and got a great deal as usual ($625 shipped for everything pre-installed! Ordered Sunday received on Thursday!:redspot)
When I opened the packaging I didnt see prolumen on the equipment and got nervous that my order got mixed up. So I come over to bf.c and search a few of your posts for confirmation and sure enough there's my answer. I have these.
Free bump for Ouri. I bought all my lighting stuff (Projectors/HID's/Lamin-x etc) for my e36 through him and he is the real deal. Shipping is quick and his response to any questions/problems is a prompt phone call with politeness and answers. Guys, if you're going to upgrade your lighting (which you definately should in e36's,) this is the guy to do it through!! Can't say enough good things about his service. :buttrock

D Unit 11-08-2007, 05:59 PM Hey Habbie,
Do you make an H11 kit (2008 Scion XB, 2nd generation)? If so, do I need a harness? The main guy at Scion life sells a lot of HIDs, but I don't think he offers a 55w kit, but strongly suggests using a harness. Do you?
Thanks.

the harness is available for $15, i suggest you use it instead of cutting wires.

you need to convert the h11 plug into a 9006, thats where the harness comes in.
i suggest the 50w digital if your budget will allow, otherwise the 55w is fine too.
with the H.O kits go a range up, atleast 5k if not 6k, the bulbs react to the extra juice and seem to have a lot less color in them.

iTz BMWz FiNeSt 12-28-2007, 02:06 PM Coming back for a third round habbie. Im tired of being bitched at by people who dont like my setup. I dont have my lows adjusted so they are currently blinding people. Since my high beams fail in comparison and i can hardly notice if the high beams are actually on, my plan is to buy another HID kit for the high beams and adjust my low beams so they are not blinding everyone(I was using the lowbeams for both low and high):devillook. No projectors in the high beams though...would this be a problem?

What type of kit would be needed for an Infiniti G35 currently using stock HIDs with D2R bulb? I want to upgrade to 50 watt ballasts and higher color temperature bulbs. I would just have to swap my ballast and bulb?

to upgrade to the 50w kit you need a whole new kit, both the ballast and bulbs have to be of the high output variety or else it wont perform as you want it too.

Okay so if I get a kit, it'll come w/ D2R bulbs, all connectors, and new ballasts? Might buy a kit for my G35 and then an H4 kit both 6000K.

they are non retail kits, meanning no box, no stickers no packing materials.
its all to keep the price down, we put stickers on some but not all, its what's inside that matters..;)

bmfanatic 02-17-2008, 11:21 PM I'm very tempted.. If I want to replace my current, old, plastic headlights, can I just buy what's linked and be done?

Get some depos with. My buddy just bought depos plus 55w prolumens. VERY BRIGHT. From visual looks as bright as my 50w digital but he's adamant that his is brighter... Whatever.
But definitely get some projector headlinghts.

you could but it would be best to get the lights replaced now too, for that you need to add the depo headlights:

NorCalPound916 03-14-2008, 03:12 AM Here is an original question to this post (after reading 7 pages of mostly the same stuff) does the increased power going to the headlights (35w-55w) affect the performance of the car at all? in the long run? will it require anything more that upping the fuse?

not really, i have been running this kit for almost a year on my truck and it works perfectly, never even upped the fuse.

azngouki 05-11-2008, 05:49 PM From my understanding the digital 50W should have the same output as 55W correct? Also what about the heat produced? Would either of these kits be suitable in fogs?
I ask since I have yellow laminx and don't want to throw my 6000k 35w to make green light lol.

the digital 50w is a more reliable and runs cooler then the 55w kit, that said both run cooler then the standard halogen so you will not have any issues.
azngouki 05-11-2008, 06:47 PM Thanks for the prompt reply. How about the bulb fitment in the housing. I think you mentioned that you need to make it bigger to house these ho bulbs. Are the digital 50w the same size as the 55w which is bigger than the 35w?

not needed for the fogs, it applies to the bulb housing on ellipsoid headlights only.
BTW long time no hear...i guess thats a good thing..:)

so for my zkw ellipsoids, i'll have to modify them to get the hids to fit? its not a direct fit?

habbie 05-15-2008, 01:26 PM ordered :)
Brandon,
you didnt specify which bulb you needed, is it an h1?
thanks.
WeiBCoupeE36 05-15-2008, 03:46 PM Yes sorry its h1 I have zkw lamps. also kinda curious, i had PNP adaptors for the back when i got my depo's before. will this have all that i need, because the zkw's i purchased had this weird adapter that required splicing of wires and i dont want to cut those. so basically i just have the lamps without plugs. i couldnt find where to add in the cost for the laminx, i just got fogs too so i was looking for a set for lamps and fogs. i'll just wait on those for now i suppose. but thanks habbie.
WeiBCoupeE36 05-22-2008, 05:00 PM awesome i got my hids in Habbie!!!! sorry for the late reply. you rule. i have yet to put them in since i gotta do the drilling first. super fast though, got them last week
